What is the advantage of using DirectLink?

The advantages of DirectLink include a clean signal delivered to the amplifier as well as the flexibility of coupling the hearing aid to many systems.

Do I need a special hearing aid to use DirectLink?

You need a hearing aid equipped with Direct Audio Input (DAI). To check to see if your hearing aid has Direct Audio Input (DAI), visit our website at www.directaudioinput.com or visit your local hearing aid dispenser.

How do I connect it?

Simply plug the 2.5mm jack into the phone, cell phone or handset and the three prong end into your DAI shoe (purchased separately). That’s it! You can begin using it right away.

How does DirectLink work?

DirectLink utilizes the Direct Audio Input (DAI) capability of your BTE (Behind-the-ear) hearing aid. The DAI (direct audio input) is connected to the input amplifier of the hearing aid, thus allowing the signal to be shaped by the signal processing algorithm used by the hearing aid.

What devices can I use DirectLink with?

DirectLink is compatible with most cell phones, cordless phones and headset adapters that have a 2.5mm connection.
